Belly Casting
$200 plain white
$300 finished and decorated
A belly cast is a beautiful way to capture forever the special bond between mother and baby (or babies!) growing within. It is constructed of high quality, medical grade, plaster casting strips that are wetted and contoured to the mother’s body. The strips dry in the shape of the body, and the cast can then be easily removed and turned into a unique work of art.
A belly cast can be decorated in infinite ways, and many women choose to have it customized to match their homes or babies’ nursery decor so that it can be hung on a wall on display. Some women like lining the inside of their belly cast with a soft and cushiony fabric such as goatskin to use it as a bassinet in the first few days postpartum.
Belly Henna
$100
Henna is an 100% natural way of adorning and honoring your beautiful pregnant body.
Many mothers choose to get their belly henna during the last months of pregnancy, at their Mother Blessing Ceremony, baby shower or at a private appointment as a way to relax and be pampered before embarking on their birth journey.
Henna is used around the world as a symbol of protection and to wish a safe birth for mother and baby.
